The stations of Cumulus Media have partnered with the Toledo Humane Society and Lucas County Care & Control to help find forever homes for some of our four-legged friends this fall.

If you are looking for a new family member, we encourage the adoption of dogs and cats from our local shelters. Please take a minute and look at the fine furry friends that are available to come home with you today!

The Virtual Pet Adoption Fair would not be possible without the help of:

The Lucas County Canine Care & Control has many adoptable dogs looking for a good home.  The selection of adoptable dogs in our care changes often, so please keep checking back to see our current residents.

If you would like to meet a dog please come down to the shelter for a meet and greet. You can spend some time getting to know them and we hope you’ll find the perfect match.

Once you meet the dog you are interested in adding to your family there is a brief questionnaire to fill out. They ask every adopter to bring in all family members, both human and canine, to meet the new potential dog before finalizing the adoption.

Animals come to the Toledo Humane Society in one of three ways: Their cruelty department, owner surrender, or transferred from another agency.

To save time, we encourage interested adopters to print, fill-out, and bring their completed adoption form with them. Each animal receives a medical exam, age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter surgery if necessary before they are available for adoption.

After completing your adoption, you’ll take your first family photo with your new addition before taking your new pet home!

The Toledo Humane Society has hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and pocket pets looking for their forever home now.

The Toledo Humane Society is the state’s oldest animal welfare organization, serving the Toledo area since 1884.

We care for nearly 5,000 animals each year through our life-saving programs and services.
