 Iconic American Music Bands: Fuel, Skid Row and Great White

To Perform at the Monroe County Fair

(MONROE, Mich.) April 9, 2018 – Just confirmed by Monroe County Fair Association!  Multi-platinum selling band Fuel will perform on Monday, July 30th alongside bands Skid Row and Great White, at Michigan’s Finest Fair: The Monroe County Fair.

Fuel is known for Puppet Strings, an album that entered the Billboard rock charts at #1. Fuel became a legend in the 90’s selling over 3.5 million records in the U.S. alone- scoring a trio of releases with top five singles. Their song “Cold Summer” became a staple on rock radio cracking the Top 20 throughout the summer of 2014.  Fuel is also known for their singles “Innocent” and “Hemorrhage”, which hit multi-platinum status and remained at #1 for 10 weeks.

Skid Row will join Fuel at the Monroe County Fair. Their first rebellion tour started in 1986, and helped build their punk and metal attitude. After splitting in 1996, the band returned to the big stage opening for KISS in 2000. The band was reinvigorated by embodying the role of the underdog who needed to fight to prove themselves. Skid Row will continue their journey together at the Monroe County Fair. From Top 10 singles, to being No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, Skid Row is famous for their songs, “Youth Gone Wild”, “I Remember You”, “18 and Life”, and “We Are The Damned”.

The Monroe County Fair will also feature Grammy nominated, multiplatinum recording band and special guest, Great White. Best known for their Grammy nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy”, Great White has six Top 100 Billboard hits, nine Top 200 Billboard Albums, two platinum albums and clocked the top of MTV video four times. Great White has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, and are known for their blues-based guitar rifts that emotionally captivate audiences.

Skid Row, Fuel and Great White will perform on the second day of the fair. The Monroe County Fair will take place from July 29thAugust 4th.
